We strive each and every day to help our clients’ pets live long, healthy, happy lives. We know we can achieve this for all our pet patients by using the most innovative, state-of-the-art equipment and techniques with a gentle, compassionate touch. Animal Medical Center is your partner in caring for the life of your dog or cat, from their first days to their golden years.
It may sound funny, but “dog breath” may be a very serious matter. Bad breath can be a sign of serious problems with your dog’s health. Oral health is vital to your best friend’s total well being. (Cats too!) We can help ensure a healthy mouth via in-clinic procedures and instruction on protecting your pet’s oral health at home.
When a new cat or dog joins your family, it’s important to ensure your new pet is up to date on its vaccinations. Great strides have been made in creating vaccines against deadly diseases, meaning dogs and cats are living longer, healthier lives. One of our highly trained veterinarians can determine which vaccines your pet requires and create an individualized vaccination plan.
Just like their owners, it’s important for pets to receive routine checkups. Visiting your vet at least once a year for a wellness exam (maybe scheduled along with vaccine boosters) is a vital preventative measure and gives your vet an opportunity to better know your pet and recognize subtle changes that could indicate a health concern.

There are few things more heart wrenching than a lost pet. Even the best behaved animal companions can find themselves separated from their families. A simple, effective way to make sure a lost pet returns to you is the painless implantation of a traceable microchip. A great idea for all pets young or old.
We know it’s hard to resist tossing your furry friends a treat now and then. But when humans use food to express love for their pets, the results can be harmful. Pets, like people, thrive on healthy, balanced diets. Let us help you find the best food for your pet’s breed, age, and exercise level.
Painless and entirely noninvasive, x-rays are a vital tool we use to diagnose a number of injuries or ailments that may be causing distress to your pet. The amount of radiation exposure used to perform x-rays is very low. This means it’s a safe form of testing for all pets, even those that are very young or that are/may be pregnant.

Hospice and Euthanasia
Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is heartbreaking, and sometimes it’s difficult to know when that time has come. If you’re having trouble caring for a sick pet at home and aren’t ready to let go, we offer compassionate hospice care. If it’s decided that euthanasia is the only humane option, we will make sure you understand the process and make every effort to accommodate any final wishes you may have.
